Vamos Sylar Forward, always.
“Forward. Relentless. Earned.”
Brand & Symbol Meaning
Vamos Sylar is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting elite soccer development through discipline, opportunity, and relentless forward momentum. Our symbol is a modern warrior crest inspired by the Aztec Eagle Warrior, representing earned excellence, resilience, and the pursuit of mastery. The eagle form reflects vision, speed, and dominance, while subtle griffin elements honor legacy, strength, and guardianship. A lightning mark embedded at the core signifies explosive potential and decisive action, and the hidden forward-angled geometry represents Vamos—movement, belief, and the commitment to always press ahead. Together, the crest embodies our mission: to guide, protect, and elevate developing athletes as they compete nationally and internationally on the pathway to the highest levels of the game.

Welcome
Vamos Sylar is a non-profit committed to helping a dedicated young athlete pursue elite soccer development by easing the financial challenges that come with high-level competition. Participation in national and international tournaments, advanced training environments, and professional development pathways requires significant resources. Individual donations directly support travel, training, equipment, and exposure opportunities that allow an athlete to compete, grow, and represent his community with discipline and character. Every contribution—no matter the size—plays a meaningful role in opening doors, sustaining progress, and turning long-term potential into real opportunity.

Vamos Sylar represents forward motion, discipline, and elite development. Our crest blends warrior tradition, speed, and legacy into a modern symbol built for competition at the highest levels—locally, nationally, and internationally.

Sylar Griffin
His Beginning
Sylar started playing soccer when he was three years old and has since then developed an insatiable hunger for the beautiful game. Along his way he has been met with many obstacles, many in the form of individuals telling him "He was not ready" or not selecting him for a team or to progress in programs. In the light of those remarks, he has vowed to himself (in his exact words at 7 years old) “That I will not step on a field and they not know who I am!” His passion and work ethic have led him to be a success on and off the pitch. In many of the programs he attends or teams he plays with, he is advanced to play with older or more skilled players and is recognized for his speed, remarkable IQ, vision, and teamwork. At the age of 9-years old he was been selected as a top player in the Soccer Youth All-American program and been awarded sharp shooter and lock down defender (even as a winger) for his play at the All-American Golden Cup tournaments. During his journey he was evaluated amongst 6,500 other participants of the FC Barcelona soccer camps around the US, and was selected to be able to attend training at the renown FC Barcelona facilities in Spain with their amazing coaches. While attending these training sessions and friendlies against Local Barcelona Clubs, he was then again single out as a remarkable player, which since then has been invited back to participate in 4 different tournaments hosted in Spain to represent Futbol First (unfortunately refused due to funding limitations and schedule restrictions). He has also been invited to several national tournaments across the United States with a select invite only team known as the Stovi Stars Prodigy Team competing in 3v3, Futsal, 7v7, and 9v9 competitions.

Barcelona Experience Invite
In June 2024, Sylar attended the Barca Academy in Richmond and had a wonderful experience with coaches from Spain. He received an official invitation to train in Barcelona this Fall 2024 due to his impressive performance and attitude at the camp.
